Private Lessons

A private lesson is a one-on-one instructional session with a professional coach, where the skater is provided with detailed and personalized attention to increase skating skill and ability.

Private lessons are most effective as a supplement to Learn-to-Skate or Academy classes. They can; however, be a sole method of learning to skate. This is permitted, but not encouraged, as group classes offer great financial value as well as peer group motivation to provide a healthy competitive environment for skaters.

Whether you want to skate for the fun of it or make your way up to the NHL or the Olympics, our professional coaching staff can help you to achieve your dreams.  All private lessons are taught at Big Bear Ice Arena, Denver.

All private lessons are scheduled through Jill Mintz -Hodyl on any of the Free Style sessions for figure skaters and Open Stick & Puck for hockey players at Big Bear Ice Arena from one of our team of coaches at the arena. 

Private Figure Skating Fees:

30-minute and 60-minute lessons

$55 for a 30-minute lesson

$110 for a 60-minute lesson

Private Hockey Skating Fees:

30-minute and 60-minute lessons

$65 for a 30-minute lesson

$130 for a 60-minute lesson

Please confirm your payment payable directly to Lace’Em Up Skating prior to lesson via Check, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal or directly through the website.  Private lesson fees do not include the cost of ice time.
